Mentoring Advanced Placement (MAP) Program

Volunteers Needed

The Mentoring Advanced Placement (MAP) program is looking for people interested in volunteering with chemistry teachers and students in high schools throughout Clark County. Mentors get together with small (3-7) groups of advanced placement students and their teacher twice a month to do experiments, explain concepts, talk about how they use chemistry in their career, and have a great time.

There are currently 5 teachers on a waiting list to have a chemistry mentor next school year. Consider volunteering with MAP to meet this community need!

For more information, please contact program coordinator Natalie Pacholl at (360)750-7500 x231 or by email natalie.pacholl@esd112.org also check out the web www.apmentoring.org.
